The Warrior clan located in Kenya and Northern Tanzania, have worn this piece of history dating back to the 1700s.
Touted as Africa's "New Fabric", the Kanga fabric was launched into the world scene four years ago, and has become a phenomena, with designers churning out artistic designs with the fabric, leaving the world stunned by its beauty and uniqueness.
The fabric was made even more popular when the modified blanket featured in the spring 2012 Louis Vuitton 2012.
The sarong which is traditionally wrapped around the waist, comes in different colours and textures, red being the favourite colour.
