Ewe Kente Inspiration



Ewe pronounced as "Ev-ay" is known worldwide as Kente. The weavers have produced some outstanding designs standing the test of time.
One of the early designs features symmetrically arranged blocks of weft float signs from 1910-30s, resembling the latest Marc Jacobs Spring 2013 creation for Louis Vuitton, as showcased last September at Paris Fashion Week also featuring squares that are arranged symmetrically.
