Beauty they say is in the eye of the beholder. What you find beautiful others may find repulsive. That's why it's shocking to learn of the latest beauty fad that has gripped the black community. The act of injecting Industrial-grade silicone to the butts to get a 'bigger booty'.
There's more to this. On one hand, Hip-hop music videos have taken the blame for the rise of this fad, and
on the other hand, Beyonce whose curves are natural, has taken an unfair share.
Little was known of this practice until Claudia Aderotimi, a UK student, who flew to Philadelphia to inject her butt died as a result.
Her death sparked an online debate on why women are having this body image issues?
Why put your health at greater risk of cancer and all sorts just to acquire a bigger butts?
Whatever body shape you are, with the right amount of confidence you can certainly pull off any outfit.
Low self esteem is ugly. Flat butts isn't.
